The rich and complex Aglianico is known as the favored wine amongst the ancient Romans while the Cabernet Sauvignon, fruit forward with high-toned aromatics, is true to the Paso Robles AVA. Equal parts legacy, curiosity and culture, winemaker Chris Ferrara brings his love of eccentric varietals and reverence for Italian culture into his winemaking process.
Clesi produces an ensemble of rare Italian heirloom wine varieties on the Central Coast of California including Malvasia Bianca, Dolcetto, Sangiovese, Negro Amaro, Barbera, Greco, and Montepulciano. These Italian wines bearing California’s stamp of terroir are elegant, earthy and balanced.
